Industry duo offer complete window and door manufacturing solution at upcoming tradeshow

Glenwillow, Ohio – August 17 2022 | GED Integrated Solutions (GED), known for their glass and vinyl window and door fabrication systems and software, will team up with sister company Norfield, a superior door machinery manufacturer, for the second year in a row at the 2022 GlassBuild America Expo in Las Vegas this October.
Superior pre-hung door and milling machinery from Norfield, combined with the precision of insulating glass (IG) and robustness of vinyl frame and sash window fabrication equipment and production-optimizing software from GED, make this partnership the complete window and door manufacturing solution.
“GlassBuild is another great opportunity for us to create awareness of Norfield’s role in the door industry,” said Michael Barney, VP of Sales and Marketing at Norfield. “We’ve been working alongside GED to educate attendees about what products and services Norfield can bring to their manufacturing processes,” added Barney, who is looking forward to attending the event as an exhibitor for the first time in person.

GlassBuild America, produced by the National Glass Association (NGA), is where buyers and sellers meet and learn how to solve their most pressing challenges. Attendees have access to 400 exhibitors, networking events, and educational opportunities over the 3-day expo.
“We look forward to the expo every year and use it to not only promote new products but to meet with current customers, discover new ones, and network with other industry professionals,” said John Moore, Vice President-Marketing, GED. “This year we are especially excited with the combined event with the WMA; it makes our dual booth even more appropriate.”
New for this year’s expo is the co-location with World Millwork Alliance. The WMA’s Annual Convention and Tradeshow will be held during the GlassBuild America show and share an exhibit hall. Your badge will give you access to both trade shows.
Mr. Barney is particularly intrigued at the possibility of extending Norfield’s message to exhibitors and attendees of the millwork convention, an industry subcategory they are heavily involved in. “We have several customers and vendors exhibiting at the adjoining hall for the millwork convention, so this brings a great opportunity for Norfield to be recognized for our role in both industry categories and to hopefully meet some prospective customers.”
The GED and Norfield Partnership

Norfield has been serving the North American pre-hung door industry since 1959, designing and building state-of-the-art door pre-hanging machinery, offering replacement parts, technical expertise, field services, and a robust website full of specialty products. With operational supplies distribution centers in Chico, CA and Garner, NC, Norfield further expanded their reach when they were acquired by GED in early 2021. Together, GED and Norfield are leveraging their unique assets and common ideals to continue to serve manufacturers of windows and doors with broader capabilities.
“There’s a lot of value in meeting industry professionals and potential customers face-to-face, sharing Norfield’s story, and providing resources to help door manufacturers reach their operation’s full potential,” said Mr. Moore.
Be on the lookout for an upcoming press release with more information on the full GED and Norfield booth experience and products featured at the GlassBuild America show.
