Glenwillow, Ohio – June 5, 2018 | As GED Integrated Solutions, Inc. (GED) continues an exciting year – from a relocation to a newly-constructed building in Glenwillow, Ohio, to a refreshed brand appearance – they have yet another exciting change to reveal: a completely updated website.
A large undertaking for the Marketing department, the website is one of several 2018 strategic marketing initiatives planned for GED. With a background in website design, GED’s Marketing Communications Coordinator, Laura Fiegelist, serves as the project manager.
“The new website has been completely redesigned with the customer’s perspective in mind,” said John Moore, VP-Marketing. “We focused on reorganizing the site to be more user-friendly and informative,” said Moore. “It’s so important to have a strong website. It’s often the first impression a potential customer has of a company, so making sure it’s visible, clean, and informative is crucial,” he continued.
The website design as it stands today has not been updated for years, making it difficult to maintain and link to current marketing automation tools. According to Moore, the new website will incorporate revised brand colors, fonts and key messaging, as well as updated product photos, contact forms and eventual integration of an e-commerce site and online training program.
“We’ve been working with DeVore Technologies in Beachwood, Ohio to develop a website that gives customers the tools they need to better serve their customers. Later this year, we will give our customers the opportunity to order parts online and have employees become certified in running and maintaining a glass and/or window fabrication system line through online training programs.”
