About SureLock®

SureLock® is the latest addition to the Intercept™ spacers family of features. This new positive lock secures the ends of Intercept™ spacers, preventing spacers from becoming undone after assembly, increasing speed, quality, and improving the handling of finished Intercept™ spacers.

Key Advantages Include:
- Positive Secure Lock: This feature allows for easier and quicker handling when folding spacers, enhancing operational speed and efficiency.
- Extreme Rigidity: It enables manufacturers producing large IGUs to improve placement accuracy and handling.
- Automation-Ready: SureLock® enables the automatic placement of Intercept™ spacers – more to come on this in the future!
Key Features of SureLock® include:
- A one-way locking tab assembly for faster and easier spacer insertion.
- Stiffer tab design for more rigid spacers, ideal for large IGUs.
- A natural “funnel” lead-in for gas filling, preventing lance catching or snagging.
- A nearly flat screw head when assembled, eliminating gaps or air bubbles in the sealant.
- Customizable software settings for minimum spacer size processing.
Intercept SureLock® is set to enhance GED’s Intercept™ “Warm-Edge” spacer systems, furthering the true and tested Intercept™ reputation for quality, capacity, and cost-effectiveness in the insulating glass manufacturing industry.
Technical Specifications
