RoboSeal™ is Readers’ Choice for Glass Assembly Systems

In a recent Door and Window Market (DWM) magazine article announcing the Readers’ Choice Award winners, GED’s RoboSeal™ was chosen as the most influential and significant product in the “Glass Assembly and Related” category.

The article reports that “GED grabbed plenty of attention in 2018 by offering up some of the most advanced, fully automated systems available.” As the first fully robotic system for gas fill, close and seal, RoboSeal’s three automated stations make for an efficient, high-quality fourth corner gas fill, close and seal for double- and triple- pane, Intercept®-based insulating glass units (IIGU).

Manufacturers, fabricators, dealers and distributors of doors, windows, moulding and millwork products recently weighed in on which products they feel every door and window company should know about.  DWM magazine gathered votes from a digital survey on products ranging from components and glass to tools and add-ons, and reported the top selection in each of the 22 categories for the annual Readers’ Choice Awards.

“RoboSeal is a breakthrough product for IG lines,” said Bill Briese, R&D / Engineering Manager at GED.  “We’re excited about the exposure RoboSeal is getting, and how fabricators continue to see the value in a fully automated, robotic gas fill, close and seal system.”  Briese adds that RoboSeal will have even more features and functionality at 2019 GlassBuild America in Atlanta this September.  “We’re always looking for ways to improve our equipment and software, and RoboSeal presents a huge opportunity for us to explore options that make production simpler for manufacturers.”
